I really appreciate the opportunity to try the product for free

I really appreciate the opportunity to try the product for free. However, after using it once, I was unfortunately not very pleased with the performance.

The plastic cutting board scratched very easily, and the raised edges got in the way when I was slicing meat, making it more difficult to cut comfortably and efficiently.

I think it’s a great idea and has potential, but based on my experience, I don’t feel that the current design is the best product for this purpose.

Aaron - I am sorry you were disappointed with your free sample Karving King. I wanted to address your concerns.
- We purposely do not manufacture our unit with ultra hard plastic, as it will dull a knife, similar to other hard surfaces, such as stainless steel or granite or glass - scratches in the surface are completely normal.
- I am not sure what size piece of meat you were carving, but the Standard size unit we sent you is not designed for large meats. It is perfect for cutting a chicken, smaller rack of ribs, roast, etc. Our XL model is designed for large briskets, large turkeys or other large meats.
- I am not sure if when you cut your meat you did not remove the 'bonus' removable cutting board, which is perfect for cutting fruits and veggies. By removing that, when you carve meat, the built-it 'spikes' grip the meat to keep it in place when carving, also making the drainage system operate more smoothly.
- The purpose of the 'rim' around the board is to prevent the juices from spilling onto the counter - a problem many traditional cutting boards have.

We have tested out this smaller/standard size cutting board and it is perfect for its designed use. It seems as though your expectations would have been better met with our XL model.

The Karving King is a interesting product

The Karving King is a interesting product. I do love the drip system and how it prevents spills. Especially when working with some nice medium rare picanha. My only complaints would be the bulkiness of the item and cleaning the system. It feels like I just suck it cleaning as I feel like I am always missing a spot or that it Dawn soap doesn't clean grease. All in all it will work as intended and you won't miss any of that delicious juice

The item has worked great. Wish it were larger for cooking for relatives and friends.

An Ingenious Gift

For my kitchen, the "Karving King Plus" is quite large. It is a good size for hams or large roasts. Its features make carving easier and safer. It cleans up nicely. It was a gift from my family & I will hope to replace the kitchen sink with a larger one when remodeling the kitchen.

This board worked out PERFECTLY, The drawer captured the juices and avoided making a mess. The prongs helped keep the turkey in place making carving easier. I am extremely happy with my purchase!
